I actually wrote a post about it at the beginning of 2011, “The 90 Day Challenge.” Part of my challenge last year was to grow a beard for 90 days without trimming it.
90 Days Of Beard
It was awesome; this is basically what I looked like. 90 days can transform just about anything in your life if you have focus(in this case it made me hideous and unattractive, but it works in a positive direction too). For instance, I went from being moderately attractive to this hideous beast you see before you. Girls looked the other way in horror, parents hid their children, and I got a lot less sex from my wife… all from a 90 day challenge!
90 blog posts in 100 days can change your business if you take the challenge seriously. There is a big difference between 90 posts in 400 days, and 90 posts in 100 days…
Whats the difference?
Momentum
Its easier to build a business fast than it is to build it slow. Every bit of effort that you put forward will count for more if you are being consistent; its a law of the universe.
For example: Lets say you go to the gym once a week for 90 weeks. Yes, its better than nothing, but you aren’t going to see much for results are you? Now go to the gym 6 days a week for 90 days. What’s the difference? Momentum.
Go practice basketball for 3 hours once a week for 100 weeks. Compare that to someone that practices 3 hours a day for 100 days straight. Which person do you think will improve more? They both practiced the exact same amount of time, but I will guarantee you the one person will improve more in three months than the other person did in 100 weeks(roughly 2 years).
There is a power to being dedicated and consistent in your efforts. This is true of exercise, diet, and business. Trust me, take the 100 day blogging challenge, and take it seriously. I’m not asking or encouraging you to do something that I am not doing myself. I started my 100 day blogging challenge on January 1, 2012, and today is the 11th, and this is my 11th blog post. Here is the list of what I have done so far:
I just wanted to put those in there so you know that I am “Walking The Walk.” I’m dead serious about this challenge, and I am out to prove that it will work. As you can see, since I am using the Empower Network platform, I am blogging about whatever I want to make money instead of doing the ‘same old’ business niche boring shit.
I had already completed tons of blog posts before I started my 100 day blogging challenge, but I’m not counting any of those. I’m only counting the ones between January 1st, and April 10th. The reason is that I understand the powers of momentum and leading by example.
Some of my blog posts are on this blog, and some of them are on my Empower Network Blog. Every time I post in either place, I copy the URL and number it in a text document so I can keep track of them. Its easy, the whole process only takes about an hour a day, and personally, I’m already seeing sales and increased traffic from the content I have been creating.
Any business can be boosted through quality, consistent blogging. Every piece of content is like putting up a permanent flyer that people can find through google searches and social media for years to come. Its like having salesmen all over the internet that sell stuff for you forever, and you just have to do it once.

I actually only told part of the story in that video; there were actually a total of 3 houses that I was going to buy, and it wasn’t a million dollar mistake, but about 3-4 million dollar mistake. Instead, I went surfing and goofed around.
The worst part about it is that I still could have been a surf-bum clown, did a little bit of work, and came away with over a Million dollars. Dammit.
Have an opportunity seeking mindset, and learn to recognize opportunity when it is slapping you in the face.

Its interesting, I started to write this post several days back, and now there is another shit storm of problems facing one of the main things I am promoting(go figure). You know what though, it doesn’t matter. I don’t wish for less problems, just a better capacity to develop solutions. We create our own realities, and I choose to live in a world where every problem is created with a solution.
This entire concept has been on my mind because everyone goes through slumps, but it also applies to road blocks. If you never get down or face problems, if for some reason you have made it all the way to the top with no bumps in the road, no days where you were near tears and wanted to quit, the stars aligned and everything was perfect from the moment you were born…
…I would like to hear your story. I highly doubt that person exists; and if they do they are an enigma, and a freak of nature. Even the people fed a silver spoon that create amazing brands and businesses had to work for what they get; they simply start from a different point, and have access to different resources.

Why?
I see the valley of golden eggs on the other side. Please don’t get me wrong, don’t be an idiot. For the love of God, don’t dive head-first to swim across shit river if it is only knee deep; that is asinine. Hell, don’t even wade in it if there is a bridge to your left or right…
…I’m just saying that obstacles will always enter our path, and if we can’t go around them, sometimes we have to go through them. This is where quitters quit, and blame the path…
…and this is where winners win as they wash off the shit and claim their prize.
There has to be a ‘Decision Moment’ in your life when you say, “There is no obstacle that is going to stand in my way because the prize is mine.”
You can have whatever you want. You can create the universe around you. The only real obstacle that ever stands in your way is yourself.
…And sometimes, that is a hard truth to swallow.
I’ve had moments in my life, some longer than I’d like to admit, where I let other people get in the way of something that I wanted. Rather than looking at them as the mere obstacle that they were, I blamed them, and took my life in another direction.
That is my fault, not theirs.
The obstacle is never at fault; it is an eternal concept, they will always emerge to test you. The difference between the 2% and the 98% is that the 2% tell the obstruction to, “Get the Hell out of the WAY!”
…and if it doesn’t move, they go around it, or through it.
You will go through hell.
You will have days where you want to cry.
There will be moments where you want to give up.
None of that matters.
Why?
Because if the dream is big enough, the facts don’t count. Period.
I’m not going to be that charlatan that tells you everything is going to be easy. I’m the guy with a fire in his heart that will tell you that I know that it is possible.

Putting the infinite pain to the side,
There is a way out, and if you look inside, you will find it…
…Or, you can keep living your life the same way as the 98%.
I began writing this rant several days ago when I was having trouble focusing; its a few days later, and another obstacle has entered my path. A few days ago, it was hard for me to motivate myself to get the bare minimum done, leave alone work like a madman that blows away the competition.
The truth is that we all go through those times. It’s a lot like working out and going to the gym to stay in shape. Some days, your just not going to feel like it, and you might ‘Show Up’ and do a crappy job. A bad workout is better than no workout. When you fight through the hard times to at least ‘Show Up,’ you will be a cut above 95% of the people in the world.
Action in turmoil speaks one hell of a lot louder than an excuse.
We do create our universe…
Everything we desire is at our fingertips; as for me I choose to live a life without regret. I choose to win. I hope that in some way I can inspire you to do the same. Tap your potential, and choose to become your Inner Amazing.
