Today we are going to keep things simple, and discuss some good philosophies that just may change your life, and some simple Alexa Ranking tips.  We’ll take a break on going into anything too deep for those of you who are working on getting your new MSLP marketing system set up.  Once again, I am going to reiterate, if you are at all serious about marketing online, you need My Lead System Pro.

Now, let’s discuss your Alexa Ranking. If you don’t have it already, you need to download the Alexa Toolbar.  An Alexa rating is a popularity contest on the internet; the lower your website is ranked, the more popular you are.  For instance Google has an Alexa rank of 1, Facebook’s is 2, and YouTube’s is 3, and Twitter is 9.  You probably won’t be competing with these giants, but you are competing with other websites within your niche market.

For the amount of time that I have been online, I have one of the best MLM/Network Marketing Alexa ranks in the game.  There are some tricks to that, and I am going to tell you the main one today:  You need the Alexa Toolbar.

You see, in some ways an Alexa ranking is jaded.  Alexa gathers information from everyone that has the Alexa Toolbar and uses that as a “Screen Shot” of what the entire population of the internet is looking at.  When  people are searching and find your site, and see that you have a good Alexa rating, it makes you more credible.

Therefore, you need to do exactly what I am telling you right now and get the Alexa toolbar so you can be a better judge as to the credibility of a website.  Next you need to tell everyone that visits your website to get the Alexa Toolbar so that your ranking will improve.  It is completely free and is a Win/Win No Brainer for everyone.

Having a group of followers that all have the toolbar, is the only big way to “Trick” Alexa and lower your rank… well, almost… there is one more, but it is a little bit more advanced, so I’ll get to it another day, after we’ve gone through a few more basics.

The way to truly lower the Alexa score on your website, and keep it low is to pump out a great deal of content that is all tied into your URL, and do marketing to get it in front of the masses.

I recommend “installing it as a status bar,” it’s one of the options on the link I just gave you.  After you install the toolbar, you may need to go to the “Tools” tab on the top of your browser, scroll down to “add ons” and activate your Alexa Toolbar.  If you are having problems, check if there is a yellow bar at the top of your page that says you need to give permission to download from the site.

Now, let’s move on to philosophy.  If you haven’t watched the video above, watch it now.  There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that you should not be living your dream life right now, or at least within a couple of months of reading this.

People always tell me that I’m “lucky I live in Hawaii.” Luck favors the prepared my friend, and there is very little of it that is not the product of design. The last time I moved out here, I quit my “Good Corporate Job” (that I hated), put all my stuff in storage, and moved out here with basically nothing but a smile on my face and the attitude that I was going to make it work… and I have.

Why do people make their dreams unattainable? Why is everyone waiting to be “Happy When…” or say things like, “I’ll do it when…”  You can be happy now, and you can begin to live your dreams immediately.  However, the first step may be the hardest: You have to decided EXACTLY what you want.  Once you know that, there is truly only one more step:

Develop the attitude that you are going to accomplish your vision and there is no force that can stop you.  If you know what you want, and are willing to do what it takes day in and day out until you get it, the only thing that can keep you from your goal is if you quit.

If there is something in your life that you know you want, cross the line, make whatever changes in your life you need to get it, and don’t stop until you’ve gotten it, no matter the obstacles that WILL come your way.  If there is one SECRET to success, That is it.
