You will need to get a Self Hosted WordPress Blog to use as the hub of your marketing.  Domain Names are available through Go Daddy, and I have 2 good recommendations for Hosting, you can click the links below to get more information from the main websites:

  1. Go Daddy
  2. Host Gator

I personally use Go Daddy for Hosting and Domain names because I like to have everything in one spot.  As you can see from my video, their customer service is incredible.  I call them often, and they will walk me through things step by step.  I’ve heard good things about Host Gator as well.  If you use Go Daddy, I recommend the 150 GB option for your hosting package; that will be enough storage space for most people, and you can always upgrade.

Your blog is the heart of your online marketing, particularly if you are in the Network Marketing arena.  This is a place where you can deliver new content on a consistent basis.  If you have a loyal group of followers that are reading your blog consistently, you are going to be in pretty good shape to start making some money.

A good blog can also help to build relationships with people on Autopilot.  As they read your posts and watch your videos, they start to feel like they know you.  First and foremost, network marketing is a relationship business… in fact, all good business is built on having relationships with the clients.

It is for this very reason that you should put some effort into making your blog have an attractive look and feel, and make it easy to navigate, rather than looking like shit.  Think of it from the visitors standpoint.

There are millions of sites on the internet.  Why would somebody stay on yours? What makes it different?  What makes it enticing? The video below can help you with the basics of putting your blog together, and will give you some advanced tips and philosophies on blogging and marketing.

After you get a blog built, I recommend swallowing your pride, and calling “that friend. You know the one; the honest one that pisses you off for being too blunt.  The friend that is going to tell you, “Yeah this blog is ugly and annoying to navigate because…” An outside set of eyes can see things that you don’t.

I was really proud of the first blog I built and thought it looked awesome. I called “That Friend,” and asked an opinion.  He told me exactly what was shitty about my blog without holding back, and I am very grateful for it.  The look and feel that I have still needs improvement, but my willingness to take constructive criticism has helped it tremendously.

One has 2 options when picking a Theme for their blog:

  1. Pay a professional to do it for you.  If you have the money for this, I recommend Fanale Creative. They have the most attractive custom blogs that I have seen to date.  I’m not saying that because I get paid to(they don’t have an affiliate program yet), Fanale Creative just builds really nice, custom blog themes. I don’t recommend having a professional build your first blog for you, I strongly suggest doing it yourself.  If you go through the hassle of building one yourself, you will understand how to customize and change it, and be better equipped to fix problems as they occur.  Either way, you will need to learn how to use WordPress once your blog is built, and that will be a lot easier for you if you have at least built one blog.
  2. Build it yourself. If you like, you can buy a theme and build from there.  However, there are a lot of FREE Themes out there.  I’ve taken the trouble to collect a great arsenal of nice looking, free WordPress themes on the internet.  Click on any of the links below to download these free themes:

FREE WordPress Themes:

Flexibility 3
Bytes For All
Blue Grace
Bueno
Intrepidity
Irresistible
Mainstream
Premium News
Rockstar
Snapshot

Thrilling
Atahualpa

All of these themes are good. Don’t play “Copy the Guru” when building your blog.  You want your blog to have a unique look and feel.  Network Marketing on the internet is driven by attraction marketing. You are out there selling yourself first and foremost.  Be yourself, and be a unique presence on the internet, and you will attract the type of people that you want to be in business with.
