At first glance it may appear this video has little to do with anything relevant to your network marketing business. Once again, you are about to witness me take completely irrelevant material and bring it full circle. Watch the video first and then read what I have to say about it. The Title of this Video is “Dirty Deeds,” it is something that my friends and I did a year or two ago. The title was of course inspired by AC/DC’s hit song, “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.”
What does this ridiculous video have to do with the Network Marketing industry? Well, let me tell you a little story.
A few days ago I had someone that was going to join with my primary company, but changed their mind. I don’t really care because I have plenty of people to talk to, but this is what he said to me: “I’ve watched yours and your brother’s videos, and I just don’t love MLM like you do.”
While I do love MLM, there are many that make a great deal of money in the industry that don’t have as much of a passion for it. I was once listening to Randy Gage talk, and he had this to say, “Network Marketing is not my only passion. I am using it as a means to an end. I am looking to create a multimillion dollar Network Marketing business to fund a multibillion dollar real estate business.”
Granted, “Dirty Deeds” is somewhat amateur, but we threw it together in a couple of days, and had a great time doing it. My friend Nate Clarke has a lot of talent for film, and did most of the editing.
I have a passion for writing; one of my future goals is to write books and movies. Do you realize that there are powerful people in the network marketing industry that are from EVERY walk of life? Having a network of strong willed, forward thinking people extends way beyond the profits that you will receive from building you MLM business.
There are filmmakers, actors, musicians, doctors, lawyers, people that used to live in dumpsters and vans, homemakers, salesman, and just about everyone else you can think of that are having success
with network marketing. If you have a team of thousands of people, and are networked well within the industry, do you think it might be a bit easier to find connections within other industries you want to be a part of?
I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase, “It’s not what you know, but who you know.” Are you a musician that knows you have a hit song, but you can’t seem to get anyone to look at it? Are you an amazing writer that has talent but nobody knows who you are? Are you somebody that has lost your dreams and is praying desperately for that “Plan B?”
Rather than struggling for years to get exposure, why don’t you create a significant income, and a network that can provide the connections to the people that can help to propel any dream that you have. Network Marketing isn’t about pills, juices, lotions, gold and silver, or service plans; it is about lighting that fire back into your soul that lets you dream again.
You may not “Love MLM” like I do, maybe you just aren’t making enough money at your job. Perhaps you work way too many damn hours, and want time freedom… or you could be a musician or an actor that wants more connections. You don’t have to love this industry to be a part of it, or to have success in it. What you do need is to have a dream and be willing to go out there and fight for it.
I implore you to develop a vision bigger than yourself. I urge you to remember what it was like to be a kid and dream again. Network Marketing is simply the opportunity for us to get our dreams back; it is the chance to put the fight back in a beaten soul. Maybe you don’t Love MLM, but answer me this question:
“What else are you doing to
live your dream?”

I feel the same way Aki. Good post man. I love mlm because of what it represents for me, time freedom and my own house… or two. No one wakes up one day and says “I am going to be a distributor in company x”. No. They somehow get exposed to mlm, decide they want more out of life and come to realizes that mlm can become a bridge leading to that, whatever it is.
I personally want my own earthship… what do you guys want?
To sleeping in!

Great video, I didn’t know you acted.
You make a great point there are influential people in every industry and you don’t know who you are going to build relationships with. They could be that person that takes your business to the next level.
Thanks friend,

WTF = Wow That’s Fantastic.
You are so off the wall and I love it. I love the MLM industry too, but there’s a bigger picture to it. It’s not the only thing I like in life. We’re lucky enough to find something we like to do to get the money for the things that are our real passion… instead of doing “Dirty Deeds” to get what we want most.
Like Ben said,,, no one wakes up and says they want to be in MLM. They have a bigger dream, and this just gets them there faster.

Hi Aki, What a great post – all too often people have lost their dream. The only thing we can do is keep working towards ours and hopefully they will see the light before they die physically. Thanks for being a dreamer.

your stuff has a real way of getting inside of people’s heads. Last night I had a dream with dirty deeds in it. He was picking me on his Chevy Camaro and we were escaping some bad guys. This really scared me. Are you learning Jedi Mind Tricks? Because I am a tenth level Jedi Master and most Mind Tricks don’t work on me but Yours did!

What a great video – Loved It.- People and their cell phones
This is a huge business with people from every race, color, and religion that has came together to help each other. You have Doctors & Lawyers who earn a good living that come into this business so to me I would just like to know if he loves what he is doing now and what is his lifestyle?
You also make an excellent point about finding other like minded people and being able to make connections within other industries you want to be a part of within the group they join.

Way to put it very poignantly. I grew up wanting to be a writer, that was my passion (you and I have talked about this a little), and then I grew to love business and real estate…which I also had a passion for. Network Marketing is great, I have passion for it as far as business goes, but I am not in love with it. It isn’t a means to an end, it is simply apart of my overall plan. I want to create something to bank-roll other businesses and Real Estate..and really create a lot of money coming in…so I can go back to writing and be able to share my novels with the world and make money doing that as well. It is hard to get published and it can be hard to pursue your less…money-like…dreams, but if you love to do something..whether that is just make enough money to spend more time with your family or to pursue something that you feel defines who you are (like me with my writing)…creating a income, a team, and alliances with people who can help you get to the dream you have…is more valuable than the normal Plan A most people have for their lives.
Aki…I am always amazed at how you put ideas together and how you create something great out of something simple or something most would not see as fuel for the proverbial creative fires that allows you to make such awesome posts.
Always a fan!
