Six Packs To Kegs and Back Again

A Review On Team Beachbody:

Fitness is by far one of the most important habits that we should maintain. I was blessed in my life to have great examples of this as a child. My father is 62 years old now, and he still runs marathons. My mother used to go on long walks with the dogs every day to clear her head. When I was in High School, my older brother got into bodybuilding. Everyone in my family has been very active in sports their whole life from gymnastics, running, basketball, surfing, swimming, martial arts, and just about everything else that you can think of. Good health and fitness is a personal passion of mine, and I know from experience that good exercise and eating habits can completely change your perspective on life for the better.

It is for this reason that I wanted to take a look into the Team Beach Body Opportunity to see what it was that they have to offer. Their products are being blasted around television via infomercials, and thousands of success stories have come from their commitment to excellence with their training products. I’ve been through a lot of Tony Horton’s P90x routines, and I’ve gotta say, they are pretty damn good.

In fact, I might have a sore stomach tomorrow from Ab Ripper X; one of the routines in the program. I used to keep up with my abs pretty consistently, but lately my once six-pack is looking a bit more like a keg. Oh, and by the way, NO, I am not a Team Beach Body Coach; this is a Third Party Review.  Anyways, I’m ranting so I’ll get to the point.

Is Team Beach Body a good company, and are they the right choice for you as a business opportunity? Honestly, that depends on what you are looking for. Their products are awesome.  A lot of people out there aren’t as fortunate as I was to be trained in a healthy lifestyle from a young age… and a lot of us that were sometimes begin to neglect our bodies.

Network Marketing has always encouraged people to partake in personal development, its one of the things that has always drawn me to the industry. If we are building our MLM business correctly, we are making money by helping other people make money. The more people we help, the more money we make. One of the keys to this success is that we can only lift someone as high as we are. Therefore, our income is in a direct relationship to our personal growth. Team Beach Body has combined Health and Fitness growth, with the personal development circuit, and for that I commend them.

The company even spends about 90 million dollars a year on advertising, and they are giving those customers to distributors that make a set of minimum requirements. Mainstream fitness has met MLM. Another feature that is attractive to a lot of people is that it is only about $100 to get going initially. So what do you need to consider before getting started?

One of the biggest things that I would ponder is that even though beach body is a great company, they come from traditional business, not network marketing. I can’t say whether or not it will happen, but if the corporation decides to drop network marketing as their business model, there will be a lot of very angry people running around with six packs, biceps, and tons of energy; God Help us all. The compensation plan is decent, but honestly not really enough to get me excited.

I would put Beachbody a notch above most vitamin companies, because even if someone bought P90X or Insanity, it wouldn’t go bad if it sat on their shelf for a year. Anytime they wanted to use it, it would be right there waiting for them. I’ve honestly been in a couple of vitamin companies, and I was laughing about this earlier today: NOT ONE TIME did I get an Autoship for a Vitamin, and finish the product before the next box came… Not one freaking time. I even happen to be a guy that believes in supplements.

Anyways, I’m getting a little ADD again; the point is that Team Beach Body is a great opportunity, at least for now. The number one things that you need to be successful in this company are a passion for fitness, and an understanding of How to Market. I’ll give you a clue, wandering around and telling people they are too fat and need to use P90X is not going to be your best bet. In fact, wandering around and bothering your friends and family is not going to be your best bet period. What you really need is to learn the secrets of attraction marketing.

I would also Highly Recommend learning to BUILD AND OWN YOUR LIST, so that you can weather the storm if Beachbody decides to revert back to traditional business.

This is a great article about fitness. It’s certainly worth sharing!

I use to be a Beach Body “Coach” and it was a complete waste. Why? Bootlegging is killing the opportunity. P90X is the most bootlegged fitness DVD in the world so very few people will pay full price when they can get if at a deep discount on eBay or for free from their friends. The money is just in recruiting more coaches. Typical illegal pyramid.

LOL… I agree Mr. X, from a personal standpoint there is no way you could get me to join “Team Beach Body.” I don’t think they are an “Illegal Pyramid,” but I do agree that the opportunity side is pretty weak.

That is the very reason that I encourage anyone in that company to Build Their Own List and Brand Themselves rather than the company. However, I do feel that the beach body products are pretty damned good.

I totally agree with the above statement lol, but I gave them a try to see how it was. It does put a little money in my pocket but the opportunity was much better a few years ago. That’s when I should have gotten into it if I had known about it. I have no interest at all in the mlm side of the business. People do buy the products “if” they can find your site lol.

Aki-The opportunity’s not quite as weak as you think, there’ve been quite a few changes to the compensation plan. I know quite a few people who have made the “I would never join X company,” and ended up having to come back full circle on that statement. Not that you would, but I’ve definitely seen it happen. Your company has a great compensation plan, but there was a time when even your brother said he would never join the company you’re both a part of now:)

As for building your own list and branding, you hit the nail on the head. Without it, your business is dead in the water.

Mr. X-bootleggers, really? That’s why it’s a pyramid scheme? To put your comment in a little perspective, Justin Bieber sold more than 4 million albums last year. I’m sure that his music was also bootlegged quite a bit, yet he still made a tremendous profit. Why? Because people found value in what he had to sell. If you market a business to the lowest common denominator, it’s definitely difficult to find customers. Bootleggers exist in just about every business, and while Beachbody is working to stomp them out like everyone else, they’ll continue to exist. And people will continue to buy from them. And yet, people continue to buy P90X’s and Insanity’s on a regular basis, because some people won’t buy from bootleggers. Marketing is finding the people who will buy from you.

Kody-the compensation plan is better now than it was years ago, but that’s a common mistaken belief that people in any MLM business have-”the people who got in first make all the money.” Typically they have a pretty good headstart, but it’s entirely possible to make great income from the opportunity today. What I would say is that if you try to use only your replicated website to sell products, you’re probably going to have a tough time building any mlm business.
