Why do quitters quit? Well, they just do, trying to analyze it to death is frankly a waste of time. As Jim Rohn would put it, “I wouldn’t sign up for that class.”
Why do winners win? Winners win because they don’t quit, there really isn’t very much of a secret there.
Everyone is always looking for the “Super Secret Magic Success Trick.” Massive amounts of money are spent on coaching and seminars so one can find the magic ingredient that finally gives them the “Breakthrough!”
Please don’t get me wrong; programs, books, coaching, seminars, courses, and anything else that is going to help you have a more positive outlook on life and improve your self esteem, skill set, and confidence, are all money well spent. When you go to an expensive seminar or retreat, its typically worth the money for the positive relationships you develop with forward thinking people (oft times even more than the value you will get from the speakers).
The law of association is real whether you like it or not, seriously, In Five Years, You will be the Average of your Five Best Friends.
Stop looking for the “Secret.” Honestly, it doesn’t exist. An analysis of those at the top and those at the bottom reveals a simple truth: Quitters Quit, and Winners Win. Both groups of people fail, one goes home with their head hung down, and the other goes home, tries to figure out what they did wrong, and keeps failing till they get it right.
There is probably a different course, book, or speech for everyone that is going to give them their “Big Breakthrough.” However, the truth behind the phenomenon is a compound effect of constantly improving one’s skill set through continued, consistent, effort and education.
All skills become second nature over time. If you want to be the best at something, track down the best, study their form, copy them, and add your own style and personality to it.
Go Out There and Kick Some Ass,

Who said “don’t ask for things to be easier, ask for you to be better”? Was that Jim Rohn too?
The people that say “I tried EVERYTHING and nothing worked for me” are liars. If they tried EVERYTHING then they would have figured it out! Generally they tried one thing a few times and when it didn’t work for them they blamed someone or something other than themselves and they went back home to watch Cops.

Spot on Steph – the reality is that people who try EVERYTHING always win
– of course, I don’t know if it’s possible to try ‘everything’ that there is in this business – we’ll all figure it out far before that.

We think success is believing in yourself and never giving up. There will be obstacles and challenges along the way, but true success comes from overcoming those obstacles and sticking with your vision till it comes to fruition. Excellent post and video Aki! Having fun along the journey is also key!

I LEARN AFTER TWO YEARS OF FAILING ON THE INTERNET EXACTLY WHAT ALI IS TALKING ABOUT. YOU SEE. NO ONE CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO MARKET YOUR PIGGIES! AND ALL THE TIME AND MONEY YOU WASTED ON THAT YOU’LL MAKE THIS OR YOU’LL MAKE THIS PROGRAM THAT LEFT YOU BROKE AND PISSED OFF LIKE ME!
NOOOO! I REALIZED I JUST GRADUATED FROM MY TWO YEAR AFFILIATE MARKETING COURSE! I KNOW HOW TO MARKET ON THE INTERNET AND HAVE A ‘INFORMATION OVERLOAD’ OF SHIT, I MEAN RESOURCES TO DRAW FROM. SOME I WILL KEEP. SOME I WILL CHUCK. SOME I WILL SELL. SOME I WILL JUST PASS ON, LIKE AKI, FOR FREE, AND THEN HIT YOU UP FOR A LOW COST OR HIGH COST PROGRAM LATER. OH WELL AT LEAST I TRY TO BE HONEST. Tee Hee!

Hey Bruce, There are a lot of programs out there, and yes, some of them are junk. However, most of them do have nuggets of knowledge that help you if one understands how to properly apply “The Shopping Cart Technique,” meaning finding the gems amongst the opinions.
Information overload happens from trying to conquer too many skills at once. Focusing on mastering one skill, and finding all of the relevant information pertaining to that is the secret to online success. Once you master one, go and find another.
I haven’t met anyone that can master blogging, social media strategies, seo, article marketing, video marketing, pay per click, closing, cold calling, etc, etc, all at the same time. That is kind of like trying to be the best player on the high school football team, captain of the basketball team, state champion wrestler, valedictorian, swim team captain, and male cheerleader all at the same time.
The jack of all trades is the master of none. Don’t get mad, get focused.
I only sell stuff that has helped me personally, and if people don’t want to buy it, they are welcome to take my free information and run with it; I’ll keep pumping it out and if I find something valuable, I’ll recommend it every time.
